Aged Care Quality and Safety

The Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety was established on 8 October 2018. The Royal Commission inquired into the quality of aged care services in Australia, whether those services were meeting the needs of the community, and how they could be improved in the future.

The Honourable Tony Pagone QC and Ms Lynelle Briggs AO were appointed as Royal Commissioners. The Letters Patent for the Royal Commission, which formally appointed the Royal Commissioners, also outlined the Commission's terms of reference.

A historical record of the website is available on the National Library of Australia's Trove Web Archive.
